Ohio EPA has sampled Middle Big Darby  subwatershed 27 times at a total of  9 sites since 1979.   There are a few different designated uses for this subwatershed including Exceptional Warm Water Habitat(EWH) and Warm Water Habitat(WWH).  Available pictures near each site can be accessed by clicking on the (u) for the upstream view of the site or the (d) for the downstream view next to the site number.  More pictures are available in the Middle Big Darby picture album or map.

c. Narrative evaluation is used in lieu of Invertebrate Community Index(ICI) for qualitative samples:

    E=Excellent and MG=Marginally Good (a non-significant departure from WWH)

d. QHEI=Qualitative Habitat Evaluation Index

e.  Warm Water Habitat(WWH)

f. Exceptional Warm Water Habitat (EWH) or recommended Exceptional Warm Water Habitat (EWH)
