Land Use G. Parks, Preserves, and Historical Sites A large number of entities have set aside land in the watershed for parks and preserves. Map 16 illustrates the lands that have been set aside for parks or preserves in the Darby Watershed. ODNR Scenic Rivers Department is working to create a database of all lands set aside for preservation. To this date ODNR has calculated that there are over 9,200 acres set aside in parks, nature preserves, and permanent easements. |
