Conservation Programs- Percents based on Conserved Acres

The following maps show the percentage of conservation practice in each subwatershed based on the number of acres that are in any conservation practice.   Therefore,  these maps show the percentage of conserved land in any given subwatershed that is the noted conservation practice.

Establishment of Introduced Permanent Grasses and Legumes(CP1)
Highest %: Headwaters Big Darby 70.1%
  Lowest*%: Hellbranch 2.0%

Establishment of Permanent Native Grasses(CP2)
Highest %: Middle Lower Big Darby 39.8%
  Lowest*%: Robinson 3.1%

Tree Planting(CP3)
Highest %: Buck Run 3.0%
  Lowest*%: Middle Lower Big Darby 0.86%

Hardwood Tree Planting (CP3A)
Highest %: Lower Big Darby 9.2%
  Lowest*%: Spring Fork 0.46%

Shrub Planting(CP4)
Highest %: Hellbranch 88.8%
  Lowest*%: Big Darby I-70 to I-71 5.8%

Permanent Wildlife Corridor(CP4B)
Only: Middle Little Darby 1.63 %

Permanent Wildlife Habitat- non-easement (CP4D)
Highest %: Sugar Run 27.5%
  Lowest*%: Hellbranch 2.0%

Field Windbreak (CP5A)
Highest %: Middle Big Darby 3.3%
  Lowest*%: Big Darby below Flat Branch 0.20%

Grass Waterways (CP8 or CP8A)
Highest %: Big Darby Milford Center to Plain City 3.0%
  Lowest*%: Hellbranch 0.38%

Shallow Areas for Wildlife (CP9)
Highest %: Hellbranch 2.2%
  Lowest*%: Headwaters Little Darby Creek 0.41%

Vegetative Cover- Grass- Already Established (CP10)
Highest %: Flat Branch 63.3%
  Lowest*%: Big Darby Milford Center to Plain City 2.56%

Vegetative Cover- Trees- Already Established (CP11)
Highest %: Lower Big Darby 9.3%
  Lowest*%: Big Darby below Flat Branch 0.71%

*Most subwatersheds do not have every conservation practice.  Lowest percentage represents the subwatershed that has that has lowest percentage greater than zero.
